Unlike the first couple spotlighted markets, Words Dance Publishing publishes as a publication and book-length works, including the Poem Your Heart Out anthology, of course. The mastermind behind the whole operation is Amanda Oaks, but she succeeds because she knows how to involve other like-minded poets and creatives.
Words Dance occasionally puts out a call for anthology submissions and for longer works, but they’re always open for general poetry submissions, which are published online on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Click here for the guidelines and their Submittable link.

There are a few things I’ve always admired about the Words Dance operation. One, they know the importance of pairing beautiful design with beautiful words. That is, they know that a book and/or publication is an experience.
Two, Words Dance is (and has been) a tech-savvy group that knows how to connect writers with the world. Recently, the Words Dance site upped its online game by providing great content several days a week, including poems, reviews, playlists, and more.
