The Kenyon Review was founded in 1939 and has published some of the biggest names in the literary world since. While they’re not the only barometers for poetic significance, the Best American Poetry and Pushcart anthologies frequently feature many poems from The Kenyon Review.
The only reason I’ve waited to feature The Kenyon Review is that their submission window had not opened yet. However, it’s now open through December 15, 2015.
The Kenyon Review considers up to 6 poems at a time through their Submittable page. Simultaneous submissions are permitted. Poets who have accepted poems will receive a contract upon acceptance and payment upon publication.
